Follow the steps below to setup your Chores & Rewards and add it to your display.
a. Click on the Profile Menu
b. Click on 'My Chores & Rewards'
c. Choose the appropriate tab on the screen based on the steps noted below.
Managing Your Family
Go to the Family tab
Click Add Family Member
Add their name and pick a fun color
Choose or upload an avatar picture to show on the display
Creating Your First Task
Go to the Chores tab
Click Add Chore
Fill in the details:
Task name (e.g., “Take out trash”)
Point value (optional if you are using rewards)
Due date
Assign to specific family members
Click Save and you’re done!
Routines: Routines help you organize and display tasks by time of day. Create daily time blocks like "Morning Routine" (6am-8am) or "After School" (3pm-5pm), then assign tasks to these routines when you create them.
Click the "Routines" button in the 'Chores' tab to setup.
Setting Up Rewards (Optional)
Go to the Rewards tab
Click Add Reward
Design your reward:
Reward name (e.g., “🍕 Pizza Night Choice”)
Cost in your currency (e.g., 50 gems)
Description of what they get
Optional: Edit the family member and select a target reward they’re working toward - this will be shown on the display to keep them motivated.
Redeeming Rewards (Optional)
Go to the Rewards tab
Select the family member
Redeem for any reward that their balance will allow. Points will be adjusted automatically.
Adjust Balance (Optional)
Go to the Family tab
Click 'Adjust Balance' under the family member you want to adjust points for
Enter the amount you would like to adjust the balance by (use negative numbers for deductions).
Add a reason for the adjustment if you would like
Press 'Adjust Balance' and the points will be updated automatically.
Ordering Chores (Optional)
Go to the Chores tab
Press and hold the dots on the left of the chore you want to move
Drag the chore to the order you would like it in.
Now go back to the 'My Displays' home screen, choose your display and add the chores widget with the options you'd like to be displayed.
