Display snapshots from an authenticated web application

Steps on how to display a screenshot of any web application that requires a login (such as Google Docs, Hubspot, Trello etc.) using the browser snapshot widget.

  1. Log in to your account on https://app.mangodisplay.com and choose the display you want to edit.

  2. Click '+' on the lower right corner of your display to add a widget.

  3. Then choose 'Browser Snapshot'.

  4. Follow the instruction prompt shown on the screen:

    1. Go to your Profile Settings

    2. Then select 'My Browser Snapshots'.

    3. Click 'Start your First Session'.

    4. On the Create New Session window, add the following details: Session Name, Snapshot URL, and Access Type (Authenticated URL). Select the Connection Type (Basic, Enhanced or Advanced). Then click 'Create Session'.

    5. A browser window will then open that works like your normal browser. Sign in to your account to get access to the URL.

    6. Once you've signed in, your webpage should appear. Click 'Capture This Page.'

    7. Then select 'Take Screenshot'. Adjust the area you'd like to crop and click 'Confirm Crop'.

    8. Return to the Browser Snapshot widget on your display, then select your Screenshot. You can also choose the refresh time, and it will display and update automatically. Once you're done, click 'Save'.
